• a piece of white felt , 2 1/2" x 1 1/2"
• paper template for eye & wing

Other materials and tools you will need to prepare are:

1. Sock (crew length): 1, or ankle sock: 1 pair
2. Orange felt or orange sock scrap (for the beak)
3. Scraped sock for bean pack
4. Stuffing beans or silica beads (for bean pack)
5. Poly-fill stuffing material
6. Sewing threads (matching colors)
7. Sewing machine (optional, you can hand-sew without machine)
8. Sewing thread
9. Sewing needle (prefer long, about 2″) and pins
10. Water soluble fabric marker or ball pen
11. Scissors
12. Blunt point tweezers
